Santa Fe is about to take literary art to another level. May 20th-23rd the Santa Fe Literary Festival kicks off an event featuring some of the world’s most notable and respected authors. Margaret Atwood, Colson Whitehead, Joy Harjo, Jon Krakauer, John Grisham, and our own George R.R. Martin, to name a few. The aim of the festival is to bring together world-renowned authors, thinkers, and passionate readers. A full schedule of authors and events is here.
Over the course of several days the festival will present readings, discussions, and culinary events around town all in the name of inspiration and love for words. Organizers and volunteers have been working for months to bring together a comprehensive, immersive literary experience. Two things to note: New Mexico residents and students receive up to 50% off individual event tickets using the promo code NMRESIDENT. On Saturday and Sunday, between 12:30-2pm a schedule of local authors and poets will take to the community stage for a free community event open to the public and taking place at the Convention Center in the courtyard.
Tickets for the event are on sale now through sfliteraryfestival.org.
